Tactical Knives

My Law Enforcement experiences has given me a lot of insight into the design of my tactical knives. The above knife (Comanche Warrior) won the award for "Best Fighter" at the 1996 "Blade Show", then went on to win the "Blade Handmade Award" for "Best Fighter of the Year" given by "Blade" Magazine in 1996.

This "Americanized" Tanto style knife (Apache Scout) won the award for "Best Handmade Utility Knife" at the 1993 Blade Show, making it the predecessor to all of the popular "Americanized" Tanto designs to come later (Emerson, etc.).

Hunting Knives: These are the patterns that I have worked on the most over the last 20 years, insuring that they have the best "working" potential possible. The edges on my hunting knives are pulled as thin as possible which is the key to making them sharper, hold an edge longer, and sharpen easier. This "thin" edge is a primary difference between "factory" or "production" knives and true Custom Knives.

Folding Knives

As with all of my knives, each folder is individually custom, hand-made.; I do not make semi-production knives cut out with lasers where all of the parts; are interchangeable and all I have to do is grind/finish the blade and put the knife together. Each part is cut, shaped, fit and finished by my hand.
All of my folding pocket knives are made with "micro-screw" construction. This gives you a tough knife that operates smoothly and consistently. It also allows parts to be easily replaced that wear out under heavy use, giving you custom knives that are truly meant to be carried and used for a lifetime.

Rafter KK Custom Knives - Handmade Knives Bird & Trout Knives

These are handy little knives, usually accompanied by a "Neck Sheath" so that the knife can be carried inverted, easily within grasp. They are small enough for the delicate work of dressing birds and caping the face of larger game.
